Stockholm - Part 1 |
|
Introduction: Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response often seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty and even comes to sympathize with the tormenter. The syndrome occurs when a captive cannot escape and is isolated and threatened with death, but is shown token acts of kindness by the captor. It typically takes about three or four days for the psychological shift to take hold. |
